I am a passionate and experienced educator who has been working in a variety of Catholic, Independent and State school settings for 32 years. I believe the role of schools in the 21st century is to provide an environment where every student feels valued and are able to achieve their potential. Schools should prepare students to take responsibility for their own learning, physical and emotional wellbeing, and relationships with others in their local, national and global communities. Schools should be inclusive and caring communities that support students to achieve academic and altruistic excellence while at the same time developing a set of values that will help them to live full, happy and successful lives beyond the school gates.
