Nigel Corby founded and ran his own interim management and recruitment company - Global Executives Ltd. - until he sold his interests in the firm to Mons BV in April 2008. He is now an Associate Director to the firm and works in a part-time and advisory capacity.His career is one of practical senior human resources management with wider profit centre and general management experience particularly in the last ten years when he has been responsible for direct sales of over £1m p.a., marketing and promotional responsibility. This gave him a thorough grounding in profit centre management including contract negotiation, pricing and three year forward planning cycles. Resourcing assignments have meant exposure to the widest range of industry and commerce in both the private and public sectors. Earlier experience includes many practical industrial relations achievements but all personnel related activity and organisational administration is within scope. Supplementary achievements have been made in wider management disciplines through work study, production services and general manufacturing management roles held.His progressive career is punctuated by the attainment of appropriate qualifications (DMS, MIPM, MIIM, MIMS - all by examination). He is currently a Member of the Institute of Directors, a Corporate Member of The Institute of Management (formerly The British Institute of Management) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Management Consultants. He was recently elected Honorary Companion of the Institute of Interim Management for services rendered in the creation of that Institute. He is a former National Chairman of 18 Plus Gt. Britain ['74 -' 77] doubling it's membership in just three years and then was elected as its Vice President, an honorary post which he held for 10 years.Specialties: All aspects of the HR function as a generalist, especially added value performance enhancement.
