As co-founder and Executive Chairman of Pherros Biosciences, a pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company, Nigel Kneafsey is responsible for the long-term strategic vision of the Company and its pursuit of innovative solutions to supply chain crises consistent with the overall goal of returning critical components of the pharmaceutical supply chain to the United States. Nigel commands a long and diverse background of leadership and experience having spent more than two decades developing technology startups, including Options Technology, that has become a global leader in computing services for the financial services industry. Under Nigel’s leadership, Options evolved into a market leader and global provider of high-performance managed trading infrastructure and cloud-enabled managed services to over 550 firms globally, providing an agile and scalable platform for financial institutions worldwide. Options provides daily support, infrastructure and services across over 20 countries, in a true 24×7 ‘follow the sun’ model through offices in 8 key cities; New York, Toronto, Chicago, London, Belfast, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand.Nigel has also invested in and helped grow several other companies, including InvestCloud, Optima Partners, Mondee, Cybersystems, JBI, Tero, Sandhill Advanced Biofuels, and FinQor. Nigel’s entrepreneurial prowess has benefited leading global investment banks, hedge funds, funds of funds, proprietary trading firms, brokers, dealers, private equity houses and exchanges. Nigel also routinely acts as advisor to various technology companies and has been instrumental in the start up and growth phases of numerous successful ventures.
