Thank you! ***My first summer job - whilst studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge - was at the Environmental Research Lab in Tucson, Arizona. Having qualified as a chartered accountant, and after 14 years in investment banking in London and Tokyo, I co-founded Pottinger in 2003, an independent financial and strategic advisory firm, dual-headquartered in Sydney and New York City. We advise leading companies, state and federal governments, industry associations and growth stage companies on M&A, capital raising, corporate strategy and public policy. We also offer our clients integrated advice across any or all of these fields. My core skill lies in understanding technological change and helping senior business and political leaders to make investments that stand the test of time. This leverages my extensive background in M&A, strategy, sustainability, risk, systems thinking and global business development, as well as my capabilities in solving complex problems and my communication skills. I relish change and uncertainty, and building businesses across borders, cultures and conventional industry lines.
