The team comprises of customer-facing Project Managers who gather requirements and a development team that produces the necessary features. Upon joining the organisation, I discovered there was no project governance, and requirements were often poorly defined, resulting in delayed development timelines and sub-standard product quality. Alongside this, the system was working to its capability limits due to antiquated development practices. To address this, I developed and implemented requirements development framework and established new definition processes that all stakeholders agreed to. I also created a priority matrix that was applied to all customer work and reviewed by the business to ensure focus on the right clients and maximum organisational benefit.
