This short-term contract involved me supporting both experienced hire and early careers attraction activity; optimising the recruitment of over 2,000 hires, from school leaver and apprenticeship programmes to graduate opportunities across Deloitte's UK business.

This newly-created role saw me recruit and lead a team of recruitment marketing and candidate attraction specialists. Supporting the development and delivery of attraction strategies and employer brand initiatives on behalf of clients across a wide range of sectors and industries, from media planning through to social media content management, the end of Year One saw me achieve ManpowerGroup's 'Newcomer of the Year' award in recognition of my contribution. Unfortunately, a business restructure led to my redundancy.Whilst leading the Attraction team, I also took personal responsibility for a wide range of projects and initiatives. Here's a couple of highlights:-• Managed the development and delivery of the EVP and employer brand on behalf of BMW’s retail business in the UK, working in close collaboration with external agency partners to produce initial concepts and a supporting tool kit• Developed and deployed a multi-media strategy in support of Sky’s volume recruitment needs across the UK and Ireland; introducing a diverse range of new media channels and products and taking ownership of Sky’s social channels and content management

Via Alexander Mann Solutions, partnering with Barclays Personal & Corporate Banking.As Talent Community Manager this assignment involved responsibility for leading the development and execution of the CRM strategy to deliver the external talent pipelines required to support both current hiring requirements and future business needs.Working closely with the recruitment and sourcing teams, I was responsible for generating and sharing relevant content to enable ongoing engagement with key target communities, whilst optimising the use of key sourcing channels, including LinkedIn.

Via Hays Talent Solutions, partnering with American Express. Hays Talent Solutions provides American Express with an RPO service covering all permanent hiring across Europe. In this pivotal role, I was responsible for developing and delivering effective candidate attraction strategies and recruitment marketing campaigns to support AmEx's staffing requirements across the EMEA region. Supporting the in-country delivery teams, I also acted as the subject matter expert for social recruitment; ensuring the optimisation of key channels to support proactive candidate sourcing as well as effective communication of the AmEx employer brand. An internal restructure led to my redundancy. However, here are some highlights:-- Developed, implemented and project managed an EMEA-wide attraction strategy to support the high volume resourcing of language skills into AmEx's UK business; optimising multiple media channels, including a wide variety of social channels, online forums and communities- Developed and implemented the strategy for optimising social media channels for both American Express and Hays Talent Solutions, with content management responsibility for LinkedIn and Twitter, whilst driving the ongoing knowledge building of the recruitment delivery teams- Supported the successful introduction and deployment of the newly developed American Express employer brand across the EMEA region, optimising a range of media including social channels

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is the only professional body in the UK dedicated to management and leadership. With responsibility for developing CMI's employer relationships, I led a team of Business Development Managers focused on account managing current clients and engaging with potential clients. An internal restructure led to my redundancy. Here are some highlights:-- Recruited and supported a new team focused on managing and winning business with employer organisations- Contributed to major change initiatives and product development projects, including the integration of a new Directorate within CMI (Employer Engagement)- Project managed the delivery of a bespoke management development programme for Ofcom, CMI's leading client relationship

Nowadays trading as Symphony Talent, my 12-years with Hodes saw me support a wide variety of both private and public sector clients; whilst also taking responsibility for leading the UK recruitment marketing business in my last six years. Operating as part of the UK Leadership Team, this role involved optimising existing client relationships whilst also supporting the effective delivery of new clients and projects to achieve business growth. A restructure of the senior management team led to my redundancy. - Led a client services team of 30 people working across the recruitment marketing and candidate management teams- Instrumental in winning new client accounts, including Marks & Spencer; E.ON; William Hill; Comet; and BAA- Led complex client projects, including the development of a global employer brand for E.ON AG- Project managed the development of a candidate attraction strategy for Hertfordshire Constabulary, resulting in the achievement of an IPA Effectiveness Award

Initially joining Manpower as a Branch Manager, I was responsible for recruiting, training and managing an operational team providing a temporary and permanent staff recruitment service to leading City institutions, including the Stock Exchange and LIFFE. After three years, I took-up the role of Contract Manager with responsibility for managing Manpower's relationship with the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD). I left Manpower following completion of my CIPD in order to broaden my resourcing experience.
