Identify market trends and key market opportunities:• The rise of cloud computing, the end user adoption of cloud apps, and the benefits of agility and low cost. • Business risk management – companies and organisations are increasingly aware of the risks associated with cloud.• Compliance – especially GDPR is a catalyst for reviewing IT and systems infrastructure.2. Identify business needs of target clients and partners:• Every sector and every size of organisation is affected by the factors above.• Certain sectors such as Education and Health are exposed to significant risks through unmanaged cloud adoption.• Open to approaches from end user organisations and partners in other sectors.3. • Responsible for all EMEA marketing functions including communications and developer marketing resulting in Openwave being seen as the leading EMEA vendor of Mobile Data Platforms.• Directed the development and execution of the M-Services initiative resulting in GSM Association adopting Openwave technology as de-facto standard. This programme involved a major political strategy to align many different organisations behind Openwave.• Marketing Director for the programme that led to the foundation of the Open Mobile Alliance. Openwave marketing representative to the Open Mobile Alliance• Openwave’s primary European spokesperson.
