• I had two Executive Roles at Juniper. The later - as CoE Chief Architect for Cloud and Automation
• Responsible for developing strategy and positioning of Juniper’s key new technology to secure wins into enterprise and carrier accounts
• Key PR and AR representative for SDN, NFV and Data Centre technologiesThe former - as Director EMEA Cloud Building Centre of Excellence
• Responsible for building and executing Data Centre Growth initiative and managing a team of 15 engineers and building 5 person Business Development function.
• Built and executed program in EMEA to support transition to SDN and virtualisation technologies

UK

• Transitioned the Intelliden EMEA organisation, major clients and legal entity into IBM following the acquisition.

UK & EMEA

• Developed and implemented product and solution sales strategy to secure position as strategic supplier to many Tier 1 Telecommunications Providers
• Worldwide management team member and direct report to CEO

International

• Responsible for RadioScape Infrastructure Business Unit and all sales
• Developed business programme including driving new broadcast video technology to secure position as primary digital broadcast supplier to Chinese Broadcasters
• Responsible for all Infrastructure product marketing and development
• Main company spokesperson for all outbound communications including press, events and Government affairs

UK & EMEA

• Responsible for all EMEA marketing functions including communications and developer marketing resulting in Openwave being seen as the leading EMEA vendor of Mobile Data Platforms.
• Directed the development and execution of the M-Services initiative resulting in GSM Association adopting Openwave technology as de-facto standard. This programme involved a major political strategy to align many.
• Marketing Director for the programme that led to the foundation of the Open Mobile Alliance. Openwave marketing representative to the Open Mobile Alliance
• Openwave’s primary European spokesperson.

UK, Europe And Worldwide

• During my 10 years at 3Com I had many roles in the sales and marketing function. Latterly, the senior roles were for a year each before I was promoted to an even greater challenge.WW VP Customer Marketing
• Established 150 person Worldwide Team responsible for all outbound Network Systems content and product strategy, including the launch of new stackable range, wireless networking portfolio, and high end switching family.
• Formed a new EMEA Enterprise Marketing operation with 100 people across EMEA. Developed telemarketing, partner and training programmes. UK Systems Sales Director and UK General Manager
• Transformed the performance of the Systems Sales organisation resulting in the highest worldwide sales of Network Management software solutions and twice qualified for World Wide Presidents Club for outstanding.
• Responsible for formation of new Telecom sales and marketing group, repositioned 3Com as a strategic supplier to the Telecom market, developed Tier 1 partner relationships and qualified for the World Wide Presidents.
