I am a committed and motivated individual with a passion for sport, having played competitive football for over 20 years. I completed by degree in Sport Psychology in 2013 and for the last 18 months I worked in Primary Schools and Nurseries as a Lead Sports Coach. In addition, I was Head of Recruitment for Sport4kids, responsibilities include sourcing and recruiting Sports Entertainers for our Weekend venues. I am committed to continuing my experience in the Coaching environment, predominantly within a School setting, which I have found to be an extremely rewarding role. I have an extensive knowledge of many sports and played football up to semi-professional level for 28 years. During my time at University, I developed a strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including SPSS statistics, and my final year project was based upon Team Mental Toughness from a footballer's perspective. Also, I gained excellent knowledge of many psychology based theories from Health Psychology to Abnormal and Personality Psychology. During my working life prior to returning to education, I developed excellent communication and leadership skills, in addition to high levels of customer service.
