Responsible for sales and marketing of glass grains to industrial users and specifiers in the abrasives, nuclear and chemical industries. Launched Decogem decorative glass to the garden sector with prominent product placement at major flower shows including Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Park. Successful sales thereafter to garden centres all over the UK.

Joined the Johnstone's Paints new graduate scheme and spent a year learning about the industry and acting as a relief manager in the UK. Later moved on to permanent branch management within the group developing the underperforming Sheffield branch into a profitable trade paint depot.
