The Plant General Manager has overall responsibility for all operations on site from Production and Packing of Ribbon and String Cheese to Processing of the Whey to a range of whey products, as well as overall site responsibility for efficient and effective support functions. This includes:Finance (Plant control and management accounting), Production and Packaging.Engineering (Project & Maintenance), Technical and Quality Assurance, Warehousing and Stores, Human Resources, Safety and Environmental. To ensure that efficient plant operation and continuous improvement is achieved through quality people and quality processes whilst also ensuring that effective employee relations and public relations programs are maintained both in-house and with the general public. The Magheralin Production Plant is a unionized, high technology environment, best characterized as fast-paced, dynamic, innovative and results-oriented. The production procedures and equipment are state-of-the-art, making them leaders in the field.
