I then connected with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s Climate-KIC (Knowledge Innovation Community) and Victoria University's innovation bootcamp to deliver the 2015 Climathon programme in Wellington. Introducing adaptive management: I developed a coastal resilience framework for Wellington and the led WCC’s involvement in developing adaptive management tools for coastal planning in Wellington and beyond. Project partners included Deltares, the New Zealand Climate Change Research Institute, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Tasman Council and the Ministry for the Environment.
