 Management of the supply chain operation in WA, including financial monitoring & accountability, warehousing, distribution & inventory control. Maintain physical condition of DC by scheduling maintenance programs to ensure sound condition of company assets. Efficient DC management through maximizing ROI (people, space & equipment) by developing and maintaining comprehensive plans. Effective team leadership through execution of HR strategies, bi annual performance & development reviews, setting objectives and career action plans. Financial management across all areas of the function to achieve AOP cost targets including processing expenditures, analyzing variances & initiating corrective actions where required. Drive and lead the OHS agenda and achieve all safety metric targets set by the business. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures for Safety & contractor management, Cost, Quality, Service and Environment. Compliance to global control standards as required by the business. Overall responsibility for labour requirements within the Distribution Centre including recruiting, selecting, inducting and training employees.  Accountability for performance by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees; planning and appraising job results in line with R&R guidelines.

 Manage day to day operations utilizing staff to their full capability to optimize results and ensure targets are met. Execute operational targets & achieve site service levels by developing DC frontline teams. Management of key financial accounts and R&M requirements to safeguard company assets. Compliance to all OHS policies & procedures reporting hazards & incidents where required. Implementation of company safety systems including risk assessments, JSA’s & SOP’s. Analysis of DC performance & scorecards against company KPI targets and action plan opportunities to improve productivity. Conduct regular tool box meetings to ensure communication is regular & timely. Also held monthly team meetings & safety briefs. Management of consumables, indirect materials & uniforms to enable effective operations. Ensure compliance to food safety and cleaning standards.

 Co-ordinate service calls for a team of 5 technicians. Ensure customers are attended to within 48 hours of placing call. Provide quotes for non-routine service work. Control of safety compliance for site & set up of OHS procedures & traffic management plan. Responsible for all spare parts and inventory. Maintained financial & operational KPI’s.

 Allocate staff their duties ensuring all work is completed within timescales and to the required quality. Planning the shift workforce to ensure all areas of the operation have sufficient coverage. Ensure shift targets & KPI’s are achieved, monitoring to ensure compliance. Report on and monitor adherence to OHs requirements including reporting of incidents and following up actions. Monitoring a team of employees looking after their welfare, performance management & reviews, coaching & training.
