At Fresca, I held a number of positions in Group businesses, and have been at the heart of changes that have ensured the company maintains its standing with demanding blue chip customers. I set up new organisations and propositions, such as The Fresh Produce Centre, which provided unrivalled customer solutions and high quality products. Within this organisation, I launched two new businesses, The Avocado Company and Fresh Plus, which provided important differentiation and value-add for customers. My achievements are often project-based - tackling underperforming businesses, introducing new business models and driving efficiency. I’m highly motivated by the opportunity to fix or improve things, and enjoy working at pace, dealing with multiple stakeholders to achieve consensus.My background with Sainsbury’s and Britvic gave me excellent grounding in category management and understanding of international trading environments. I also spent 10 years with Red Bull, seven of which as Managing Director, UK, with extensive involvement in evolving the brand via major marketing support programmes, commercial sponsorship, partnerships and large-scale promotional events.I gain huge satisfaction from mentoring employees at any career level ensuring they achieve their full potential, and believe that individuals need the freedom to do their jobs, in the context of regular guidance and support.
