Close collaboration with the project's architects, engineers and suppliers to manage RFP's and subsequent design and delivery of state of the art technical systems including: -Voice and Data networks, -Building Automation Systems (security, access control, lighting control, mechanical controls), -Internet kiosks, -Digital signage, -A/V infrastructure. Conducted technical compliance reviews at the international broadcast centre (IBC) & Main Press Center (MPC) for the 2010 Olympic Games. The Vancouver Convention Centre is a LEED Platinum facility.

Implementation of infrastructure for Broadcast production, scoreboards, videoscreen and voice/data/wifi networks . Empire Fields was the temporary home of the BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps during upgrades to BC Place Stadium.

Storyeum presented a live, interactive, educational, re-creation of British Columbia's history utilizing A/V multimedia, special effects, and live actors, on multiple stage sets in a 65 minute theatrical show.

A wonderful 7 year involvement with multiple aspects of the design, construction and operations of General Motors Place (now Rogers Arena) home of the NHL Canucks and NBA Grizzlies (1995-2001). Major International sporting events included the World Cup of Hockey, NHL all star game, NBA draft, World figure skating championships. My direct responsibilities included RFPs and contract administration for the video scoreboard, video screens, scoreboards, audio systems, and managing the telecommunications and broadcast infrastructure.

Construction, exhibits installation and technical operations for multiple pavilions at the 1993 Worlds Fair in Taejon, South Korea. Pavilions included: Great Britain, Korea, Korean Airlines, LG, Pohang Steel Corporation, Korean Electric Power Corporation. Projects included 2D and 3D Large Format Cinema, Motion Simulators, 360° projection systems.

I was heavily involved for 3 years at EXPO 92, the world's fair in Seville, Spain during the design, construction and operations phases.Contracts with Rathe Productions (New York), All Set Design (Canada) and Iwerks Entertainment (Los Angeles) on projects that included the pavilions of Spain, Venezuela, Pais Vasco, Puerto Rico and Oman. Technologies included : Motion Simulators, Dome Screen Cinema, 360° Projection System, 8/70 Large Screen projection systems. Managing the installations of multiple projects simultaneously, in Spanish, with an international crew was a huge challenge, but wonderfully rewarding in every sense.

Our team at Rathe/Campbell designed and built exhibits for 22 pavilions, 2 bars and a restaurant at the 1988 World's Fair in Brisbane Australia. A/V highlights included The 60fps/70mm Showscan projection system at the New South Wales pavilion.

The BC Pavilion was the host pavilion at EXPO 86, the Worlds Fair in Vancouver BC. I was involved with marketing, exhibits, and technical operations including the 70mm / 60fps SHOWSCAN film theater.
