Created a premium brand distributor from a “budget” based company into to become one of the major optical wholesalers in the UK. Sold the company to the Intercare Group plc, a UK publicly listed company, remaining as MD, reporting to the Main Board Chairman, with a staff level of 95. Personally secured the exclusive UK distribution of Nidek to expand into the high-tech retail optical market and medical Laser market for ophthalmologists, going from zero to £3M in sales in one year. Oversaw ISO 9001 (BS5750) accreditation for the company.
