Land Use Land Cover studies are vital for Urban Planning and Development, requiring high-resolution satellite images and their corresponding semantic labels. However, obtaining such data is expensive and time-consuming due to the need for ground truth annotation. Our innovative solution involves generating high-resolution satellite images based on the semantic labels, enabling efficient data augmentation and dataset preparation. This approach provides multiple variations of ground satellite images for the same labels, facilitating large-scale data augmentation.Our primary objectives include developing an annotated dataset for Mumbai City using high-resolution satellite data. The dataset will be accessible through a sophisticated web-based dashboard, offering a user-friendly interface for data exploration and utilization. Additionally, we aim to compare and develop paired Image-to-Image translation GAN models that specialize in generating high-resolution satellite imagery for dense urban environments based on input semantic labels. This comparison will identify the most effective model for producing realistic and accurate satellite images in context of Indian environment.Furthermore, we are committed to creating a comprehensive web-based system that not only disseminates our findings but also serves as a software-as-a-service platform. This system empowers users to generate high-resolution data using our developed model, providing a valuable resource for urban planning and development initiatives. By offering this service, we address the critical need for cost-effective, high-quality data in Land Use Land Cover studies, fostering informed decision-making and sustainability. Show less
