Nihal de Run is at the stage of his life where he is more intent on putting back into society rather than taking out economic benefits for himself.Having spent his early professional life as a tea taster for export purposes in Sri Lanka, he worked as a logistician in Purchasing, Supply & Distribution for several years in Australia. He concluded that stint by teaching the subjects at Swinburne and Chisolm Universities and left a mark on the industry by Publishing what was then only the second book ever written in Australia on “Purchasing & Supply for Australia”. The book was used for several years as a text book for the Certificate and Diploma levels of education in the industry.He made a quantum leap out of the Logistics Industry into the Finance Industry in the early 80’sBy joining a Life Insurance Agency in an Administrative role and a Director of that firm before establishing his own financial advisory practice with a licence from the Securities Commission.In 2010 he sold the business he had built to Professional Investment Services and retired as a personal financial planning advisor.Rather than hang up his boots completely he joined Radar Results as an Agent working in VictoriaHelping buyers of Financial Planning, Investment and Superannuation businesses find acquisition opportunities.
