Hi! I’m Nihan Iscan, a recent graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in International Studies. My passion for diplomacy, policy analysis, and social change has inspired me to focus on issues like poverty alleviation and climate justice. During my undergraduate years, I specialized in diplomacy and politics in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), gaining insights into the political and social fabric of the region. This background has deepened my commitment to climate action—particularly in finding solutions to strengthen our economies, mitigate pollution, and adapt to a new age of sustainability. As I look toward a career in the renewable energy sector, I’m excited to connect with others who are motivated about creating impactful change. Outside of work, I stay active in youth mentorship for high school girls, fostering women’s empowerment and helping guide the next generation of leaders. In my free time, I enjoy reading, embroidery, and kayaking. I’m excited to connect with others who are enthusiastic about driving positive change!
