• Designed and coded a new flexible and scalable system for calculating profitability and sales commissions o Used multiple tools in SQL server and Excel to model thousands of products and services into seven categories and several sub-categories to allow for high level analysis of the data. This analysis was then used by the CEO, CTO and VPs to make numerous crucial business decisions including calculations logics for the profitability and commissions model o Designed and programmed the system with three-tier architecture in C#, HTML and Javascript on ASP .Net. Concepts like Interface & abstract classes, inheritance & encapsulation, and tools like Linq, Reflection and Microsoft TFS were used. Also created multiple user interfaces such as several windows applications, a windows service and two websites (using MVC model)• Programmed backend class libraries, using C# in Microsoft Visual Studio, to parse large text files, process the data and save/update it in SQL Server. Devised multiple windows applications and services with features like automated file processing, report generation (to highlight key metrics for management to review) and real-time email notifications• Performed extensive data analysis on SQL Server and Excel to create a set of anomaly detection rules to identify out-of-pattern customer activity.
