I'm assisting Dr. Sayan Dey with ethnographic research on the Siddi communities in Gujarat. We are exploring themes of music, spirituality, healing, community, and nature. We traveled for a week during a heat wave to four locations, connecting with people in the community and learning about what is meaningful to them. I captured interviews and B-roll footage.Aims: produce short documentary, co-author paper.

GLANCE magazine is a publication created by the fellows in the Global Leaders' Alliance Fellowship at Alliance University. I support the editor in chief with assigning article topics, editing the magazine, and liaising with writers. As creative director, I conceptualize the look, feel, and focus of each issue with Adobe InDesign and Canva. I also photograph and edit images for the magazine.Currently working on GLANCE 2024.

I perform foundational research for a comprehensive model of well-being in a volunteer capacity.

This is a student-created educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on empowering female-identifying students to join fields that are male dominated. I design and implement events and programs for professionals, university students and high schoolers with my team. I create curricula and minute-to-minute event plans, as well as perform outreach with collaborators and high schools. I also head the Communications and Design teams.

Restaurateur is an NYU club that connects students with the food and hospitality scene in NYC through Family Meals, Restaurant Tours, and Cooking Workshops, often bringing students to meet with world class chefs and have stimulating conversations about food. I was a member of Dr. Dora Angelaki’s lab where we researched spatial navigation in mice. My work involved running experimental set ups and performing various data management tasks such as spike sorting. I also helped develop a custom wide-field imaging system and supported the activities of the International Brain Lab, which Dr. Angelaki is a member of.

I worked with students from preschool to high school ages to foster critical thinking and self-learning skills in English and math. This position required a capability to prioritize tasks and think quickly, skills that were valuable especially when supporting multiple students at the same time. I learned to maintain high degrees of originality, patience and care when working with the children.

Assisted study on transference and spontaneous trait inference theory through the Department of Psychology. Ran participants, distributed various research surveys and managed data collection.
