Business/Data Analyst for following highly visible programs,VLS to MSP Conversion: The Project was to migrate from ‘Vendor Loan System (VLS)’ to ‘Mortgage Servicing Package(MSP)’ to simplify the Home Equity Product. It was aimed to Improve Customer experience and reduce the cost, increase efficiency and lower the operating costs.BCBS Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting: Validating credit risk reports in Mortgage Banking is compliant to Basel Principles. Responsibilities include:● Worked closely with the Business users, SMEs to create Business Requirement Document with a specific focus on identifying the Primary and Secondary schema impacts.● Conducted meetings and JAD sessions during the process of Requirement Gathering.● Unwind the primary and secondary schema objects to isolate the tables and attributes, identify dependencies and find alternate mapping for these attributes on the new database.● Performed Data Profiling and Data Mapping of MSP loans at different stages of production load.● Performed Data aggregation i.e. defining, gathering and processing of risk data as per Basel requirement. ● Analyzed SAS codes to map 600 Data elements to their authoritative data sources● Accomplished the validation of 800 attributes by generating SQ queries to compare between actual and legacy data in production. Outcome of these validations were reported to utmost detail in ALM which included a high-level compare, details of match and mismatched loan count and defect analysis of mismatched loans.● Visualized the Credit Risk Reports into Conceptual groupings of dimensions and measures to prepare Use Case View for report regeneration by IT. Used Cognos for generating reports to conduct production parallel testing● Extensively used SharePoint to document project processes, communicate requirement and version control them.● Organized weekly status meetings with SME for reviews, change request, approvals , ensuring on-time deliverable.
