The front desk personnel of the University of New Haven Rec Center are part of the Facility Operations/Member Services department. As an attendant, I was the principal greeter for every visitor who walked through our front doors. When they entered our facility, I checked to see if they had a valid membership and, if they didn't, I corrected their membership to allow them entry. The first part of every shift was spent welcoming customers and swiping their IDs into the facility, while the second half was spent going around the rec center making sure everyone was sticking to the rules and wearing masks.
