Possessing a record of more than 7+ years of lovely memories in tutoring students the subject of Biology, Human Biology and Science in IGCSSE, GCSE Cambridge, Edexcel and the Sri Lankan National curricula, I define myself as an enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment towards the development of a student’s learning experience by meeting the required objectives through ideal teaching techniques for physical and online classrooms. I make it my mission to inspire students to view the subject of biology more than just theory and take a step ahead to incorporate this knowledge into real life scenarios, gaining a more live experience. This method adopted has undoubtedly produced great outcomes as I would receive compliments from my students mentioning, “We love you with all of our brains.” With the intention of bettering myself at what I do, I could also introduce myself as a mentor, who promotes a positive mentality and provides great inspiration and motivation to my students. This has paved way for them to overcome whatever personal challenges they might feel during their educational journey and focus well on their studies. The maintenance of healthy relationships with my students and parents could be identified as another strength which adds to my role as a professional educator in Biological science. I have successfully completed my education and acquired the milestone of a BSc Special graduate in Human biology from the Faculty of Medicine, Sri Jayewardenepura, with an extensive experience in research, academics and presentations skills. I am hardworking, responsible and committed to the work assigned to me, with a good natured personality which has always helped me develop a healthy work ethic and good work culture with my team. I view myself as a talented individual who loves to feel the beauty of nature in simple things. With a heavy arch on being creative, I have a much cherished passion for creativity, new ideas and new start ups on fields which spark my interest, where I could feel the sheer satisfaction of seeing the blooming results of my hard work and commitment. I take full responsibility for my professional development and is confident that am able to positively contribute to my career as is proved by my successful journey so far.
