Tufts Literacy Corps (TLC) is geared to provide reading, writing and math tutoring services to elementary, middle school and high school students in the Medford/Somerville area. TLC is purposed to give quality tutoring a student not only needs to understand the material, but to also excel after receiving guidance. Duties include:- Facilitated 3rd grade.

Tufts University

Under the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), the Tufts Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) chapter of Region VII helps provide resources for success to students who are underrepresented in medicine. - Manage community services events - Hold academic and health profession informational-sessions- Coordinate medical school.

Greater Boston Area

- Helped with clinical administrative duties on Project that studied innate immune response of pediatric flu patients- Performed double-data entry of medical records- Corrected large excel data sets- Attended faculty seminars and participated in lab meetings- Shadowed ICU rounds and cardiac surgery - Worked on self-made project observing the relationship.

- Published study aimed to find evidence of intersectionality between gender and race in the workforce- Recruited and ran participants through online program- Assisted with clinical and administrative tasks- Received course credit- Presented ongoing findings at end of course
