    As a PhD student, I worked on the problem of interaction between fuel droplets and turbulence in turbulent spray flames. I used a PDF method for this, which solves stochastic equations (Langevin equations) using a Monte Carlo method. I coupled it with a classical Eulerian RANS solver to achieve faster convergence.
