As a Training Administration Officer with MPA Skills, I coordinated training programs for apprentices and tradespersons. With knowledge of the legislation and national training packages, I organised training plans for apprentices and ensure contractual fulfillment is aligned to the nationally recognised units of competency. Due to the nature of my work, I managed contract variations for apprenticeships and kept the management updated of these variations to facilitate submissions of funding requests. In addition, I maintained records and training documents up-to-date in shared repositories to facilitate work operations.

Being a Senior Project Executive with ITEES, I worked on preparing proposals, budgetary requirements and implementing schedules for projects including capability training and internships for clients in Southeast Asia. For projects under my charge, I prepared relevant logistics and resources for the programs and briefed the management as well as consultants on project deliverables. To keep the management updated throughout, I also prepared financial status reports, activity reports and monthly agenda papers. In addition, I handled publicity events related to the projects, which include media releases and publications.

As an Assistant Manager, part of my responsibilities include optimising financial aid application process to better facilitate work efficiency and serving as Webmaster of the office’s corporate website to provide updated information. Being responsible for the financial schemes for future students, I composed circulars and emails to targeted groups of students to create awareness, managed publicity of bursaries and scholarships by external organisations as well as prepared financial budget reports (projection & expenditure) for the management and Ministry of Education on a regular basis. In NUS, I am also well-versed in Customer Relationship Management system like RightNow and Student Information Database like PeopleSoft Enterprise which I utilised on a daily basis in resolving queries from students and the public community.
