Managing and planning the BASF PETRONAS Chemical (BPC), OXO Complex facilities turnaround and shutdown. Utilising the project engineering, maintenance and construction work experience to assemble the team and spearhead the planning and execution of BPC OXO Complex Shutdown.

Lead, coordinate, manage, plan and execute CAPEX based on MOC (Management of Change) to ensure compliance to Site’s HSE requirement, Kuantan Site Practices, International Standard & BASF guidelines. Also to manage, guide and motivate senior Executive / Executive (Project – Engineering) at any time as to ensure their performance at the optimum level.To provide accurate Mechanical calculations, basic & detail engineering including technical specifications for the design of Mechanical equipment. Ensure Monthly Costing Data are tracked and translated into spending. All issues related to plant and complex are handled in a systematic manner.

Review and approved all detail design, preparation of all design calculation, document control including contract drawings and specification, engineering codes and specification, resolution of technical non conformance and queries, liaison with DOSH for engineering drawing approval, implementation of quality procedures, preparing project schedule and close monitoring on day to day fabrication job. SpecializationKnowledge in Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger code requirements of ASME, BS, TEMA. Familiar with computer software especially COMPRESS, PV Elite, AutoCad, Thermal Process Design HTRI.
