I expanded my network to cover the Arabian Ranches, giving me a stronger foothold in the market. The freedom in my role has also allowed me to work on off-plan developments, and I regularly meet with developers to discuss their projects and the ways in which I can promote them. This allowed me to work closely with investors, and gain a vital understanding of the different buying motives for investors and giving me a much wider client base.Working for John Taylor has allowed me to connect with the international network, promoting Dubai as a place to purchase in to those who possibly hadn't considered it before. I provide the highest level of service to my clients, updating them on the market and providing a full investment service tailored to their needs, rather than just trying to sell them property.

Allsopp and Allsopp are one of the biggest and most renowned Real Estate brokerages, building an excellent reputation since they entered the Dubai market over 9 months ago. The opportunity to join such such a prestigious company was one that I did nit hesitate about.I started my career as a Leasing Consultant, covering Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers and The Greens. After exceeding my target within the first month of joining, I was soon promoted to cover Green Community, Victory Heights and the affluent Jumeirah Golf Estates - one of the most sought after positions in the company. Again I exceeded my targets, and began building a solid reputation within the Jumeirah Golf Estates area.An extremely varied role, I was involved in every aspect of the deal, including the initial acquisition and marketing of the property, to agreeing a deal and preparing and signing contracts. I gained a great deal of knowledge on the real estate market in Dubai and it was also essential that I was not only an expert in the areas that I covered, but I also had a good grasp of other communities in Dubai so that I could offer both tenants and landlords alike great advice.

I was headhunted to be part of their already well established team with a progression into management being planned.Providing outstanding customer service is a big part of what I offer, regularly going above and beyond the call of duty and maintaining relationships with customers to encourage future loyalty. My role is an extremely dynamic one and although sales plays a large part of it, it is not limited to this. Marketing and finance are a big part of the role, and due to the rigorous 6 month induction at Barnetts, I have become highly qualified in many areas.I form an important part of the social media team, developing our Facebook to attract new customers and this has become an integral part of our marketing output. I run a training class once a week for sales executives at the company and also mentored one of our trainees for 3 months, and with training and development being something I love, I was delighted to see the progress that he made.

After leaving university, I joined the Graduate Management Training Programme with Enterprise. I completed my traineeship and passed my Management Qualification Interview within one year of joining the company. I then relocated from Glasgow to Cupar to become the Assistant Manager, and then Branch Manager at this office.The role was a hugely varied one, and as each branch was run as your own business, I had a huge deal of responsibility despite not being with the company long. My main roles included running the daily operations of the branch, employee development, exceeding sales targets, stimulating growth of the fleet and effective utilisation of the fleet, and responsibility of all income and expenditure of my branch. I would also look to grow the branch by marketing the company to local businesses, establishing conquest corporate accounts and also encouraging existing accounts to use us more.I thoroughly enjoyed the role and I was very proud to turn the branch around from making a loss, to being profitable, as well as growing the fleet and guiding two trainees through their development folder.
