About Nik H.

From 2008 to 2013 i worked at Education Malaysia – Dubai (previously known as Malaysia Education Promotion Centre) as the Assistant Marketing Manager and Marketing Manger from 2011 onward. EM – Dubai is responsible for promoting and recruiting students from the Middle East and North Africa to study at Malaysian Higher Education Institutions. In this position I covered 28 countries in the region. I played a key role in a team that has effectively promoted the brand ‘Education Malaysia’. One main achievement during my time at Education Malaysia is surpassing the target of bring 10,000 students by 2010. I then worked at Westminster International College a division of London School of Commerce. Here I was able to use my previous experiences and my broad international network to market and recruit students from around the world to WIC. From 2015 to 2017 I was working at the Albukhary Foundation as the Marketing Manager for Albukhary International Univeristy / AiU International School in Alor Setar, Kedah. I was part of the team that restructured AiU, developing the marketing plan and stragegies for when the University was to begin its intake. At the same time I was part of the pioneering team and spear headed the marketing and student recruiment for the AiU International School for it inaugural intake in 2017. During 2018 to 2022, I took on a new challenge as the Head of Marketing and Sales Manager at DSH Institute of Technology. Here i was able to build and lead the marketing team and recruitment partners/agents to sucessfully increase the number of student registrations exponentially . In 2018 DIT had a total of slightly over 100 active students. My team and I brought stability to the institution and over the four years we recruited over 1,300 students to the college.One of my greatest assets I offer is my experience , leadership and personality. I have the ability to work with many personalities and groups of people. I always bring a positive energy to the work place and strongly believe in team work. I have the willingness to learn from others, as well as share my experience.
