He developed a wealth of financial experience managing a portfolio of high-net-worth business banking clients and providing lending solutions to meet their complex property funding & development requirements. Nik was able to leverage from those fundamentals and experience into residential lending where his focus has been since opening doors in 2015. His unique approach to mortgage broking quickly shot him to prominence, being awarded as one of the industries’ rising stars recognising exceptional performance and quality client outcomes. I managed a portfolio of business banking clients for the NAB on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. My role involved relationship management for 100 medium to large business groups, and a commitment to service their every finance need with a predominant focus on commercial funding between $500k and $20M. Finance solutions include property and business acquisition, development funding, equity injection, cash flow solutions including trade and debtor finance, and equipment finance. I was surrounded by a team of specialists, leveraging off a wealth of knowledge to provide comprehensive solutions to accommodate any business requirement. I prided myself on solid relationship, analytical skills and an intimate understanding of my clients and their respective industries.

I was selected to undertake a position with Universal Music that focuses on new business development and strategic marketing. Our team was responsible to explore and develop different avenues through which to promote and ultimately sell music – primarily focusing on assimilating music into other company’s communication strategies. I was involved in crafting and implementing a number of promotional drives that integrated music and response channels to drive sales, build brand awareness and improve attitudes for a number of leading companies that included Caltex, Citibank, Mazda, Microsoft and Billabong. I also took it upon myself to explore and research potential segments of the population and proposed various methods to engage them. I was asked to present my findings to the board and subsequently to the entire marketing department, from which several ideas are currently being implemented.

I was temporarily assigned to the role of licensing coordinator which provided me with the opportunity to refine my administrative and people skills. I became thoroughly acquainted with Universal’s systems to seek approval, license, and source masters and label information. I had to juggle several projects at a time, all the while adhering to tight deadlines and negotiating with label managers. I played an integral part of the development and release of a number of major compilation titles that included Ministry of Sounds Annual 2011, Running Trax and Rocktober 2010.

I was successful in achieving a number of sales based on the effective implementation of a tailored marketing strategy for a variety of properties. I managed a portfolio of clients, meanwhile developing communication, analytical and management skills.
