Job Role Summary - Data Compliance & Governance Principal Architect and Presales SpecialistPresent the value of Veritas Data Compliance & Governance products to a variety of audiences from C-level to end-users and all levels in between.Understanding the business and operational or goals the prospect has and recommending a solution that ensures the optimum usage and utilization of products and services, which includes a full pre to post-sales lifecycle from RFI response/requirement analysis to running a scoping exercise or engaging in a prototype/proof of concept for agreed requirements.Support Sales to drive the pre-sales phase by introducing the Profile product/services offering and provide product demonstrations, functionality, system architecture, etc. by interfacing with prospective and current customers, distributors, and partners (both at business and technical levels).Designing/architecting and delivering solutions that match Veritas Technologies/services to provide solutions tailored to client’s business strategy and IT needs.Evaluating any project constraints and devising alternatives to reduce risks, whilst performing process re-engineering. Job Role Summary - ConsultantProviding Technical Support (Break fix issues & assistance in Installation and Configuration for Symantec Partners & Business Critical Contract Customers) at L2, L3 Level for Enterprise Vault (Version 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11) for Microsoft Exchange (2003/2007/2010/2013) & Microsoft File Servers. Also L1, L2 Level for Domino Server Archiving, Microsoft SharePoint Servers Archiving & Compliance & Discovery Accelerator. Assisting Symantec Partners & Consultants in Upgrade / Migrate or if Proof of Concept (POC) need. Collecting and analyzing product-related logs in order to find the Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Defining Backup Strategies and Implementing Best Practices for Enterprise Setup. Configuring Exchange Components such as Outlook Web Access (OWA) / Outlook Anywhere with EV, and Internet Information Services (IIS) to integrate with Enterprise Vault. Configuring Access Rights, Authentication Types, IP, and Domain Name Restrictions in IIS in order to provide secure access to Archived Emails.
