I work in a second tier support team responsible for investigating technical issues and maintenance of the SAP and SharePoint infrastructure on behalf of Group HR. I personally lead on the SAP Portal and Microsoft SharePoint elements, engaging with both end users to resolve technical system issues and managing senior stakeholders throughout product development and design.While in this positon I have pushed the boundaries and exceeded customer expectations by designing and hosting upscale custom InfoPath forms to enhance user experience while offering more streamlined business processes. I acted as the project lead for the successful upgrade of both our key systems, SAP Portal from version 7.01 to 7.40 and SharePoint from 2013 on premise to 2016 Office365 which required extensive stakeholder management. While undertaking various projects and everyday work I have always strived for the best possible outcome. As part of this I have self-taught three items from the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to enable me to provide the business with the best possible results. I am also training in UiPath to offer another level of expertise to career.
Customer Service Advisor - Content Management
I first started with Royal Mail Group with the challenge of managing all content and documentation owned by HR Services and moving it all to one centralised location in Microsoft SharePoint 2010. This content was currently stored across Microsoft SharePoint 2003 and 2007 sites and on multiple on premise servers.Acting as the project lead for the task ahead I completed full analysis along with risk assessment of all content including any permissions associated with it. I created multiple wireframe designs for prospective HR Services sites including further team subsites and demonstrated the use of specific permission groups per site to protect the information. After presenting my analysis and designs to the business I proceeded to build the sites using SharePoint’s out of the box functionality coupled with custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript to produce a fully functioning HR Services content repository and team specific Intranet.Further to the successful completion of my first project I also undertook the creation of a second online repository to assist all Royal Mail users locate documents relating to policy, guidance, standards and troubleshooting material using SAP Portals knowledge management system (Web Page Composer).
Web Content Manager
I started this role as a Web Sales Assistant within a small ecommerce team dealing with online sales and marketing. After showing I could learn new skills quickly and adapt to an ever changing business I soon took over as the Web Content Manager. My new role enabled me to continue to learn new skills and implement them in the introduction of a second and third ecommerce website to drive sales towards a specified brand.With multiple live sites I continued to push the company in a positive direction by introducing new branding standards and eventually helped the business move its successes to larger premises. As part of my own development and my ever growing passion to learn I also undertook work from the other half of the business and learnt the required skills to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in laptops.
