I Provide creative design and art direction for external facing web-based and mobile-based communications. I have a variety of skills including, but not limited to, graphic design, interface design, information design, web usability, HTML coding, CSS coding, JavaScript coding, as well as a range of knowledge using various software tools related to web design and development.Essential Functions:• Provide creative strategy and art direction to teams of web producers and technical developers• Review existing web site and mobile designs and provide feedback for design improvements and increased usability• Create new web site and mobile designs based on existing information architecture and sponsor needs and requirements• Build semi-functional mock-ups or prototypes of web and mobile designs for stake holder review and/or usability testing• Prepare time estimates for web design and mobile design activities Problem Solving/Decision Making:• Thoroughly understand and digest the material that is to be presented on the web and on mobile devices as well as on other digital channels like email and social media. And to suggest the optimal methods, architecture, and designs to create an aesthetically pleasing and highly usable design within the business requirements.• Participate in planning meetings and recommend strategies for design projects• Oversee deadlines and deliverables from the working team.• Balance technology requirements with deliverable goals• Recommend certain technical solutions to support design suggestions
