I am a sophomore studying mechanical engineering at IIT Madras passionate about contributing towards developing a sustainable future. I am a part of Agnirath, the team at IIT Madras that designed and built a solar car – India’s only entry for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2023. I am a consultant with the IIT Madras consulting firm, 180DC, where I have had the opportunity to work on several social initiatives – including helping social sector enterprises prepare their pitch decks to get listed on the Social Stock Exchange. I have also had the opportunity to be a part of the Sponsorship & PR team at Shaastra - Asia’s largest student-run technical festival. My ongoing initiative, FarmWyz, involves ideating and developing a platform to create a network of technology-assisted Aquaponics farms across the country. I won the Jury’s Choice Award at the Accenture Innovation Challenge, 2023 for the same.I believe engineering and humanities go hand in hand and developments in science and technology should be deeply rooted in the betterment of society. I am driven by the conviction that advances in technology should serve the greater good, contributing to a more compassionate and sustainable world.
