Rampart is a leading asset manager specializing in option strategies. Rampart manages client positions and portfolios using domestic equity and index options. I spearheaded Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning. Implemented Trade Management system "Advent Moxy" and Portfolio Accounting Management System "Advent APX". Developed External Data interface with Broker/Dealers. I spearheaded IT planning & Management, Requirement collection from Trading group reporting solutions, ongoing IT support and management of Critical Systems.

Factory Mutual Insurance Group (FMIG) is the world’s largest property insurer. This was a mission critical application for FMIG in managing their client’s infrastructure technical information for their property insurance operations. This product was targeted towards fulfilling the needs of Field Engineers for their fire, equipments, buildings and hazards data collection needs. This product is used world wide by more than 1500 Field Engineers. Architecturally, this was a Multi-Tier, Client Server based product development project that follows “Component Based Scalable Logical Architecture CSLA”. There are various Business Object components that provide various layers in the system. The various architectural components are Presentation tier, UI-centric tier, Data-centric objects and Data services tier. On this assignment, I was lead developer analyst on Production Processes module. Production Processes are actual client process that involves raw materials input and finished products and byproducts output. I was involved in the requirements study, system architecture, prototypes, design and development of this module. This module utilizes various rules objects and data centric objects from Equipment and support system modules.

Proteus was a web based solution. It was targeted towards fulfilling the needs of Automobile parts manufacturers and Automobile parts suppliers for their product demand forecasting and production planning needs. On this assignment, I designed a very flexible data model that is implemented in the form of dynamic tables as oppose to static database tables. The client site web application administrators were provided with functionality to alter the underlying tables without affecting the operations or other functionalities. This was accomplished through dynamic relations definition table and COM modules handling the query requests and generating relations between any numbers of tables based on BFS procedure to generate the dynamic SQL statements in the reporting tool. This product is designed as a multi tier architecture application. There are various COM components that handle different layers in the system like request routing, database requests, query generator and XML generator. The standard communication protocol between various entities is invariably based on XML. JavaScript and VB Script have been used as client side scripting language and server side scripting languages respectively.I was involved in the product requirements study, analysis, complete system architecture, prototypes, design and development of this system.Proteus is a complete end-to-end solution for the Auto part demand forecast, production planning and performance tracking system that seamlessly integrates with the existing ERP and CRM systems or the individual custom client applications

This was an integration interface project between Boston based Thomson Financials Electronic Settlement Group (ESG) , and New York based Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) for their post trade settlement systems, as a result of the merger of these two companies, resulting into Omgeo.This project involved a very challenging integration of two post trade settlement systems with varied architecture and internal designs. I was involved in the analysis and identification of the data components shared among the two systems, analysis and design of the data flow between the two systems, complete system architecture and design, development, testing and implementation.The solution integrated Alert System of Thomson Financials, a Sybase 11.0.3 database with Trade Suite of DTCC New York, a DB2 database. The software solution utilized Tuxedo Client interfacing to an existing notification server to identify and qualify the changes to the Trade account settlement instructions and sent notification messages in XML formats. This information is packaged in the predefined message format and shared among the systems via IBM MQ Series. I was heavily involved in the overall framework of the information sharing protocol among two entities over the MQ.

To handle the fast growing business needs for online processing of Liberty Mutual Insurance, the Claims Workbench was re-engineered from the legacy system into a distributed 3-tier architecture client-server system based on the top of DCE & Encina infrastructure.I was involved with the detailed level analysis of the Jacobson’s use cases, Business Object model analysis, converting use cases to detailed object model design using OMT/UML Methodology & Rational Rose Case Tools. Further I was involved with the design and development of Object Interaction Diagrams (OIDs) for these modules, the C++ code generation from the Business Object Model using Rational Rose, development and code enhancement of the generated code of these modules, unit testing, integration testing and final implementation.The above process included the development of the Business Process Objects (BPO) , Message Handlers (MH) and Pseudo business Objects (PBO) and the batch process for the following modules :Payment disbursement, Treasury disbursement external system interface, Payment Confirmation, Payment Post Reversal, Payment Reporting, Refund System, Stop Payment.I was involved developing some reporting tools integrated with the batch modules using XML, XSL, data islands to address the immediate needs of the remote offices to get their daily disbursement and Check register reports.This project extensively uses Rouge Wave libraries, Rational Rose Case Tools and Continuus Software Change Management and Version Control. I was exposed to IBM Message Queue (MQ) for external system interfaces.
