Mobile notary throughout Southern California during the rock n' roll times of the real estate boom and crash. I drove something like 15,000 miles a year in a Volkswagen Golf TDI. Perhaps the most important thing to come out of this job was the realization that I could cure my lifelong allergy to dogs, which I then did through a series of actions that most find less than credible. Still, I now live with 3 dogs after spending the first 29 years of life living with a severe dog allergy. Incidentally, this job was an introduction to the idea of the push/pull principle that applies to wealth creation and idea transmission.

Developed QH as a go-to clothing design company at the forefront of current graphic ideas. Sold through many storefronts including Fred Segal and Nordstrom. Went bankrupt on this one and within two weeks was overcome with boredom, so started two more companies with my bride.

Exup Inc (www.exupinc.com) Designed the HIAC (House In A Container) for high-threat, hostile, and post-disaster environments. Superb idea, poor execution. This was an introduction to the real world of running an actual business including recruiting and managing partners, making sales, generating cash flow, and using the power of content creation via a website to tell your story. I did all but one poorly and suffered my first failure in business.
