Stranger Than Reelity (STR) is a film production company founded in Hyderabad. I worked full-time as a director with the company. My primary focus was on developing the business in terms of making and conceptualising commercials, music videos, promos as well as short films. I also worked as a screenwriter for a feature film script with Entertainment Studio Pvt. Ltd. during my tenure with STR.

I created and co-invested in the 'dcube x ink10' line of t-shirts with dcube, a lifestyle store in Hyderabad. I was involved in the entire process of developing the t-shirt line and bringing it to market. I worked on the design, sourcing and production of the t-shirts. In addition, I also came up with the copy for the labels and designed the marketing collaterals for the launch of the line.

I worked as a consultant in the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice of Ernst & Young (EY). Some of the duties I was entrusted with included business development, client interface, secondary research reports as well as internal organisation structure analysis. I was lucky to work closely with a senior partner during my entire tenure at EY. Among my projects at EY was preparing industry reports for the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF). Additionally, I also worked on optimisation plans for internal best practices and organisation structure issues.

After wrapping up the online short film festival with indyarocks.com, I was given the opportunity to work as the festival director and curator of the 2nd Wordless International Film Festival, a traveling film festival based out of Sydney, Australia. My main responsibility revolved around organising and executing the festival in Hyderabad. The festival was unique in that all the films contained no dialogue and relied purely on visual imagery and sound to tell the story.

I worked part-time with indyarocks.com, an Indian social networking website to curate and execute their first ever online short film festival in 2007. My responsibilities spanned the entire life cycle of the festival, right from drafting the submission process to identifying festival jury members.
