The beginning of my career was through a campus placement at Felix (Spoton) Structural Consultants as a Structural Engineer, where I was put into high-risk tasks of developing a whole structure from scratch. The structural designs of the gate houses of Cochin International Airport (CIAL) may be the one I would pick for example.After completing 2+ years there, I chose to get an MTech full-time Degree in Computer Aided Structural Engineering, which was a great add-on to my structural experiences.My industrial experiences with a master degree helped me a lot in my profession as a guest lecturer.Meanwhile, I got selected as a Project Engineer to the transportation research wing of Kerala State, officially called NATPAC (National Transportation Planning and Research Centre). Couple of years there really tested my field/laboratory/team/office management skills. Being a part of the bridge management system team and the designing of two major road junctions in Kerala were the couple of my accomplishments at NATPAC. Moreover, having an experience with the State Government was a milestone in my career. Later, I started my career as a Technical Writer at Prema Consulting Group (PCG), a US Forensic Engineering consulting company in Florida, Tampa. There I could improve my hybrid working skills and it made a commendable improvement on my communication, observation, and report writing skills.Apart from these, I was the structural consultant for some private construction companies (RCC Residential Structures) and I have had my own clients.
