Entrepreneur | Photographer | DJNikhil Khera has been at the helm of Bharat Carpet Manufacturers since 2002 and V-weave since 2004. As the steward of a four-generation, seventy-year-old family enterprise established by his great grandfather in 1951, Nikhil upholds the reputation of being among the oldest and most respected manufacturers and exporters of hand-woven floor coverings and handcrafted textiles in Panipat, INDIA.After earning his Bachelor’s in Science degree in Textile Management & Marketing from Philadelphia University, USA in 2002, Nikhil’s return to India saw him seamlessly integrate into the family business. Over the past two decades, he has not only amplified the export business manifold but has also preserved the legacy of being ethically and socially responsible. This commitment manifests in supporting hundreds of local artisans and their families.Recently, Nikhil became a Non-Executive Director on the board of FABINDIA Limited, a role he has held since September 1, 2021. Before this, he served as a board trustee for JLBF – John L. Bissell Foundation from March 2020 until August 2021.Beyond business, Nikhil’s wanderlust and love for photography have taken him to over 25 countries. His passion for electronic music dates back to his early days, and as a hobbyist DJ, he masterfully blends beats. An avid arts and crafts enthusiast, Nikhil takes pride in his collection of Indian modern contemporary art.
