• 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗰𝗼- Designed 3.6 MMTPA Residue Upgrade unit for Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura Refinery, involved in Pre-FEED (FEL-2) and FEED (FEL-3) stage activities over the technology portfolio consisting of Vacuum Flasher Section, Solvent Deasphalting Unit & Hydrocracking Unit (Reaction-Fractionation section) by leveraging Honeywell UOP's Uniflexᵀᴹ & Enhanced Two-stage Unicrackingᵀᴹ Technologies.- Tasks and responsibilities included,1. Developed PFDs, HMBs, MSDs and more than 460 P&IDs by providing redline markups to drafting2. Incorporated client's drainage, isolation and safeguarding philosophies on Licensor P&IDs3. Developed Non-Licensor Distribution P&IDs redline markups of all the utility streams4. Performed hydraulic calculations of ISBL & OSBL circuits (line, pump and control valve sizing) and well versed with Saudi Aramco standards5. Prepared Hydraulic Calculation Report & Critical Equipment Verification Report6. Prepared IPDS of Control Valves, Pressure instruments, Temperature instruments, Flow instruments, Emergency Isolation Valves & MOVs in SPI InTools7. • With the aim of replacing blower in aeration system (used in activated sludge treatment process) with Liquid Venturi Eductor, suggested, designed and performed sizing of 3 different geometries of the same.• Performed CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics, using Ansys Fluent) analysis to study the flow pattern of primary & secondary fluid, velocity profile and pressure differences at suction, throat and diffusing sections of the Eductor.• On installation, the average mass transfer coefficient would be 3.7 times than that of blower aeration, the system would also decrease the operating cost by replacing the blower.• Studied about process design and flow-sheeting of Brine Recovery System in Sugar Refinery.• Briefly studied about Vapo-cav, wastewater treatment using AOP and Biological treatment using MBBR (Moving Bed Bio-film Reactor)

• Worked on understanding market of targeted Metals & Minerals in sectors such as Agriculture, Agricultural Machineries, Transportation (Road & Rail), Glass & IT-Telecom for a confidential client. • Fully responsible for carrying out primary & secondary research, and assisted in performing quantitative analysis and in summarization of findings in presentations.

• Contributed in "Chandrapur ST-IV TPS Flue Gas Desulfurization - 2X500 MW" project for Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd.• Was responsible for sizing of chemical equipment such as agitated vessels, absorbers & distillation columns.• Performed line sizing calculations of pipeline systems for handling slurry, and validated the work done. • Briefly studied about Performance Guarantee Testing of plants and also assisted in selecting MOC for pipelines.

• Reviewed essential PFD's, P&ID's, and the process manual to understand the operability of Water Treatment Plant, Ammonia Manufacturing Unit, Steam Generation and Methyl Amine Plant. • Visited the manufacturing facilities and studied the control panels to have a better understanding of basic control strategies.• Detailed study of operations and troubleshooting encountered in the above mentioned units.• Key Projects: Performance Optimization & Design of Ammonia Recovery Unit.

• Comprehensively studied Oleochemical manufacturing processes: Splitting, Distillation and Hydrogenation of Oils and Fatty Acids. • Learned and acquired hands-on experience in SOP's for trouble-shooting and change-over of unit operations in the respective manufacturing unit and also assisted in solving problems encountered during operations.
