Worked under Professor Xian Du of UMass Amherst on a solar LED Ring Light Project. My role was to ensure the ring light glows according to the background light. I learnt to implement a Proportional-Intergral-Derivative (PID) algorithm using MATLAB onto an Arduino which glows a 144-LED ring, a camera is used to act as the sensor and control the brightness of the ring.
