I have been into a lot of roles in the Finance division. Primarily my role was to take care of the billing of our partners(US)and clients, handling all the billing related queries and generating invoices. This all is done by various in-house tools along with Oracle & Tally. One more crucial part of my responsibilities is making reports and Job aide documents which in turn would help anyone have a fair idea of the processes I deal in.In the India finance vertical,my job responsibilities include Payroll, reimbursement of employees on a monthly basis,filling of TDS returns(monthly and quarterly),sales tax return/refund,filling of MPR & APR,STPI compliances,booking and payments of vendor bills,Softex related activities,creation of purchase orders, reconciliation of banking statement,GST return/refund,vendor management.

This is where I learnt a lot of things about designing as this is one of the premier Institutes of India when it comes to learning designing.I was working here as a finance associate in a Government Scheme named " DESIGN CLINIC SCHEME). We had to organize Design Orientation Seminars and Workshops all over North India which includes Interacting with the various Cluster members along with the members of Ministry of MSME. We had to help with the Documentation of the financial assistance provided to the MSME'sat every step. Apart from this i also had to maintain accounts and prepare reports for the Annual meetings held with the Ministry related to the expenses and progress of the Scheme.

I started working here after completing my Masters in Finance.Few of my responsibilities included the following :1. Organizing promotional events, marketing activities, etc at various places.2. Managing & Developing Partners Business3. Also helped in recruiting Channel partners For Mutual Fund Business through various activities i.e. group presentations, one to one meet & etc.4. We had regular interaction With AMC for query handling & for business development.5. The most important component was selling of various financial products available. Along with this we had a huge responsibility of retaining as well as acquiring new customers by regular interaction with them in this cut throat competitive market.6. We also had to maintain the Portfolios of HNI clients, regularly interacting with them and helping them understand the market trends and also capitalize the opportunities as and when they come.
