Sedign Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a process-led innovation company aimed at proactively identifying and solving for crucial gaps in the society.+ We have developed Diaraise, a first in the world, patented accessory for the dialysis equipment to improve the quality of dialysis provided to kidney disease patients. The in vivo clinical investigation with 15 patients has been published in the 'Hemodialysis International' journal. (Please check sedigns.com for more information). + Leveraging our understanding of membrane separation processes, we have developed two solutions for improving the reverse osmosis process used to generate drinking water. These solutions reduce both the volume of water wasted during the process and the frequency of required maintenance.

Selected for a Social Innovation Fellowship initiated by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, with a focus on addressing society's pressing challenges.Theme: Ageing and Health+ Closely studied India's healthcare infrastructure by observing medical procedures, shadowing healthcare professionals, being part of community health programs and visiting multiple old age homes.+ Applied the Stanford Biodesign Process framework throughout the fellowship. Distilled over 500 key observations into 77 Need Statements in the eldercare domain, followed by rigorous research and filtering to zero in on 'end-stage renal care' as the primary area of focus.+ Through focused research, arrived at the technical Problem Statement: 'Membrane clogging of dialysis filters results in significant reduction in the effectiveness of dialysis.' Diaraise, our innovative solution for renal care, was a result of this fellowship and subsequent support from other programs.

+ Led a shop floor restructuring initiative to enhance the manufacturing process efficiency of fuel injectors. By optimizing workflows, reconfiguring workstations, and implementing lean manufacturing principles, we achieved significant reductions in production cycle times and costs, and improved product quality.+ Designed and successfully implemented a system aimed at preventing tool shortages, optimizing tool usage, and facilitating the seamless movement of tools between manufacturing and repair areas.+ Worked with machine operators to implement innovative machine enhancements, resulting in improved overall equipment efficiencies.
