Nikhil Karande has been proficient in the Blockchain for 9+ years and has continued his enthusiasm for blockchain in the IEEE community for past 5 years. He become a successful entrepreneur and an efficient engineer as the current COO of Knit Finance. With blockchain at the heart of it, his other interests include Crypto Trading, DeFi, Blockchain, Cybersecurity & PM. As an IEEE member he won several accolades and has been recognized for his valuable contribution to the societies. Few of those awards include, IEEE CS Bombay Section's Best Volunteer award (2021), IEEE Blockchain Volunteer (2021), IEEE Smart Village Volunteer (Asia, Pacific region) (2020), and IEEE Entrepreneurship and Innovation Secretary of Bombay section (2020). He has also been awarded as the Section Lead for IEEE Xtreme in 2019.
