Transferring from the sister concern company, I was promoted to be a Sales & Service Engineer and the following responsibilities were implemented:Core Responsibilities: Marketing of NDT Products, Preparation of proposals, Liaison with Customer and Foreign principals, Co-ordinating with the logistics for smooth order delivery, Installation and Commissioning, Operational training, Payment Follow-upShared Responsibilities: Requirement generation, Tender Search, Price Negotiating, After Sales Support, assisting company associates, etc.

After undergoing training I had to report under the Sales Manager for all the actions to be carried out. The responsibilities I had to perform were as follows:- Finding out the Government tenders against which we as a company can quote to- Demonstrating the Portable Ultrasonic Flaw Detector at various company sites- Attending the outstation meetings for tender opening and negotiations- Preparing quotation against customer's RFP- Conversing with foreign principals regarding their proposals- Marketing of High-temperature Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge after preparing a clientele list- Undergone training for preventive maintenance and servicing of X-ray Machine by accompanying the service engineer at companies like BARC, L&T, ISRO, etc.- Attended as a participant for the company at NDE exhibitions with products like an X-ray machine, Radiography system, ultrasonic systems, and eddy current systems- Undergone training for various systems like Ultrasonic Testing machine, and Eddy Current flaw detector

Being a Sales Engineer on probation I was trained for the complete range of Non-Destructive (NDT) products and how the company operates in India. Further, I was introduced to various industries like Nuclear, Heavy Engineering, Space, etc. by attending various technical sales calls and negotiation meetings with customers accompanying a senior Engineer. Attended the NDE exhibition where I was exposed to the competitors. At the end of this phase, I would say I was well versed with what was coming forward.

Assisted in Arrival & Departure Check, Check ‘A’ routine (500 hrs check), and replacement of components on Airframe & Engine System and further carrying out Cabin Maintenance on the following Aircrafts - B747-400- Airbus 310-300 - B777 LR/ER & B400

- Worked on engines like PW 4056 Module/ Engine Dressing, CF6-80C2/50C2 Engine Dressing,CFM-56/GE90 & CF6 Module (Compressor & Turbine)- Worked in Machine Shop/ Rework and Blade/Bearing/Gear Box/ APU Section
