Hello, my name is Nikhil. I am a freshman at Purdue University. I am currently majoring in Computer and Information Technology, although I am planning on switching to Cybersecurity. My interest in this field was sparked when I explored cryptography, privacy, and biometrics while working as a cybersecurity research intern at UT Dallas. Here, I also presented a critical analysis of a biometrics paper and suggested novel directions for future research. I am also a member of The Data Mine, specifically in the Entrepreneurship Cohort. I joined this living-learning community due to my strong interest in data science and statistics. Additionally, I am captivated by how entrepreneurship intersects with both cybersecurity and data science, and I am eager to explore these connections further.My future aspirations involve becoming a cybersecurity analyst.
