Currently, as an Associate Director at UBS, I am leading a scratch development project called Simcast, which calculates the Net Interest Income for the firm. I am responsible for designing and developing microservices and hosting them on the Azure cloud. This project involves a wide range of technologies such as Java 8, Spring Boot, microservices, Azure Data lakes, Azure Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, multithreading, Mockito, Jenkins, Spring JPA, and Hibernate.Previously, as a Module Lead at NSE IT, I worked on the Connect2NSE project, which was an interfacing application for all the financial institutes to consume market data such as trade details, margins, collateral, positions, etc. I was involved in various technologies such as Java 8, Spring Boot, Zuul Gateway, Spring Security, websockets, JWT, microservices, multithreading, Mockito, Jenkins, Kafka, Redis, Spring JPA, MyBatis, and Hibernate.At JP Morgan & Chase, I worked as a Java Developer and was involved in various projects such as NA & EMEA Client Money and Large Trade Reporting. For NA & EMEA Client Money, I developed a web-based application to monitor market value differences between clearing and CCP side calculations and provided the maker checker workflow to adjust the differences. Final reports were submitted to CFTC.
