Dialify was an experimental Audio Games Engine that repurposed Asterisk for Call Flow management and extended it with a dynamic VoiceXML generator to enable creation of high quality interactive sound stages with NPC's (Speech Bots) & server-side Game Mechanics like Multiplayer Gameplay (Real-time Audio Conferences with a Bot controller) and personalized player profiles and scoring systems.We created 10+ Audio Games over a 2 year period with Bollywood IP as well as International IP from Cartoon Network (Ben10 Universe, Powerpuff Girls) as well as the super hit Cwicket franchise that scaled to millions of Monthly Active subscribers.Some of the major achievements of the Dialify engine were -- A Cloud-hosted, soft (IP) integration capability with multiple Carrier SDP's (Service Delivery Platforms) that did not require dedicated CTI hardware.- A scalable stack that could scale to 100k+ concurrent calls lasting 15-20 minutes of high engagement gameplay.- Semi-finalist at the AWS Global Startup Challenge 2010.- Winner of Seedcamp Mumbai 2010.- Motion Picture Quality Audio Post Production by Academy Award winning Studio.- Over 10 million paying subscribers played these Audio Games from Payphones, Feature Phones and Fixed Line Phones.Dialify was built by a team of 2 Engineers and was one of the most innovative & successful experimental Game Engines ever built.Dialify eventually became the foundation of the Playblazer Game Mechanics Framework that powered Major IP Mobile Games like Real Steel & Hunger Games : Catching Fire.

As a member of the CEO's Office at Reliance Big Entertainment, I was responsible for oversight, strategic planning, budgeting as well as consolidation & integration of all technology resources (engineering, infrastructure, ongoing ops) across all digital companies within the group comprising large B2C Internet properties like BigAdda.com (Social Network), Zapak,com (Online Gaming), BigFlix.com (DVD Rental & Media Streaming) and a number of other initiative in the areas of Local Search, E-commerce, Music & Maps.My role was to work closely with the CXO's of the individual businesses and align their Technology investments & decisions with those of the Corporate Group as a whole.Also acted as an Internal Technology Consultant to the CEO and performed technology evaluation & due diligence of potential strategic partners and acquisitions across a global footprint besides scouting for new & emerging technology for use within the group's businesses.

Co-founded BigAdda.com and built it into India's largest Social Network in 2008 (pre Facebook).Led the Product & Engineering teams to create a defiantly local social network that incorporated the trinity of essential Indian culture with aspects of Bollywood (Music & Movies), Cricket & Local communities built around Adda's (Hangout's) for Causes, Brands & Interest Groups.BigAdda Mobile was also the first Mobile Native Social Network that worked with the users phone Number, ran on 2G Mobile Data and built a Social Graph around the Users Phonebook - And was available across 500+ devices in the Feature Phone days.

Served as Founder & Head of Product for Zapak - the largest Online Gaming company in India that eventually scaled to 25m+ monthly users.Zapak eventually grew into one of the most successful indian Gaming brand and operated a large Online Gaming Destination, a chain of the best equipped Game Cafe's across 20+ cities as well as a number of successful Casual Multiplayer Online Games.

Product Strategy : Developing new concepts, prototypes and driving innovation around the Mundu IM platform across multiple business segments including Digital Media, News Portals & Retail Banking.

As Product head for all Community & Personalised Products like Chat, Email, IM, Photos, Clubs, Forums etc. I was responsible for Product Roadmap and execution of the same with multiple teams comprising internal & external resources as well as for acquisition of platforms, products and integration with Indiatimes.

I was responsible for creating & managing the Consumer Self Service Portal for the ISP (IP over Cable) service, besides creating, sourcing and managing relevant content repositories for the Broadband Service.

I was responsible for Tech Ops & Product Management related to various early Times Group Digital properties like TimesofIndia.com, EconomicTimes.com, FeminaIndia.com & Filmfare.com. I also led the team that setup the first ever large scale On location Live Streaming production team for Times Internet when we Livecast signature events like Femina Miss India, Femina Look of the Year & Filmfare Awards from Stadium scale venues in Mumbai & Pune.As part of the Tech Ops for the Online Portals I was primarily responsible for implementation & operations of Real Media Open Ad Stream and the WebTrends Analytics suite to respectively support the large scale of Online Ad ops as well as Analytics for both Usage Tracking as well as Revenue metrics.
