My primary role included designing, implementing and testing research oriented mechanical engineering experiments in the field of Mechanics of solids, solar energy, wind energy and energy storage systems that can be virtually accessed through the internet. The project was initiated as part of National Mission on Education through ICT by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India

Leading a high-performance cross-functional team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to design, manufacture, test off-road prototypes at National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP), Pithampur, India. Strategy and planning activities, Hands-on involvement in powertrain and suspension system design.

The internship gave an industrial perspective to the entire process of Forging Steel Products from processing blanks to Quality and dispatch. We gained valuable exposure to the Forging process, Quality control techniques which included both Destructive as well as Non-destructive methods. Material testing using spectroscopy and chemical methods were also observed. We also came into first hand contact with the various heavy machinery employed to perform or finish the manufacturing process.

Worked at the workshop and gained hands on experience with a variety of modern passenger cars in use today. Understood the conceptual working of various components and subsystems in commercial automobiles.
