About SEO Scholars: SEO Scholars is a free, eight-year, academic program that gets low-income public high school students to and through college – with an 85% college graduation rate. 100% of SEO Scholars are accepted to four-year colleges, with more than 80% being first-generation college graduates. Approximately 80% of SEO Scholars are attending colleges and universities ranked as top 100 in a U.S. News & World reporting.High touch holistic advising for caseload of 60-70 low-income, BIPOC, first-gen college students through in-person and virtual advising sessions. Using clinical social work approaches, I proactively addressed academic and personal challenges, fostering success. I managed student data in Salesforce and executed virtual programming for academic and social-emotional skill building. During the COVID-19 crisis, in addition to the aforementioned, I troubleshooted urgent student needs, facilitating the distribution of relief funds and summer tuition assistance.

I managed budgets for professional and student staff, and served in the on-call rotation for 24-hour crisis contact for 5,400 students (as both Assistant Director on-call and Coordinator on-call).
